Radically Personal: Ourselves and God in the New Axial Age

Radically Personal: Ourselves and God in the New Axial Age

 by Jerry L. Martin

About the Book

Radically Personal begins with the lived experience of the seeker. Jerry L. Martin recounts his own turn from non-belief to profound spiritual encounter and the divine message that inspired the Theology Without Walls project: “You stand on the threshold of a new spiritual era, a new axial age.” Drawing from decades of philosophical study and cross-traditional engagement, Martin offers a guide for developing one’s own experiential theology rooted in personal insight and spiritual clarity.

Rather than beginning with inherited doctrines, Martin starts where life actually happens—in the personal experiences that shape our understanding of divine reality. Radically Personal explores what it means to recognize those experiences, reflect on them deeply, and integrate them with the most compelling insights from global religious thought. The result is a model for a personal, seeker-driven Theology Without Walls.
